General information
The workshop takes place at the FBZ (Forstliches Bildungszentrum), which is located on campus.
Look for number 30 on the campus map. Just above the left one you will find "Forstschule".)
For train connections please take a look at the travel planner of the Deutsche Bahn AG .
For finding your way around Karlsruhe please have a look at the city map .
By car:
- A5, Exit Karlsruhe-Durlach, towards Karlsruhe (Stadtmitte).
- Continue along Durlacher Allee for about 2.4 kilometres and keep following the sign "KIT, Campus Süd".
- Pulling onto the campus you will find a desk office on your left. Please register with the janitor. (If you are using a navigation system, enter Engesser Straße as a first point of reference.)
- On campus turn right on the third crossing (Wolfgang-Gaede Weg).
- Keep following the signs "Forstliches Bildungszentrum". A sufficiently big car park can be found right at the FBZ.
The red-dotted line on the larger of both maps indicates where to go.

By train:
- From Karlsruhe-Hauptbahnhof (main station), you may take the tram number 2 to "Wolfartsweier", S1 to "Hochstetten", or S4 to "Heilbronn".
- Get off the tram at "Kronenplatz/KIT Campus Süd".
- The FBZ is located about 5-10 walking minutes from the tram stop. The red-dotted line on the smaller of both maps indicates where to go.

By air:
- Having arrived at Frankfurt(Main) Airport follow the signs "Fernbahnhof" to get to the railway station.
- Take the ICE to Karlsruhe-Hauptbahnhof (main station) (if necessary via Mannheim (transfer!)).
- From Karlsruhe-Hauptbahnhof (main station), you may take a taxi or the tram number 2 to "Wolfartsweier", S1 to "Hochstetten" or S4 to "Heilbronn".
- Get off the tram at "Kronenplatz/KIT Campus Süd".
- The FBZ is located about 5-10 walking minutes from the tram stop. The reddotted line on the smaller of both maps indicates where to go.
